Ravel's Getting Better And Better

At the beginning of pre-season we all hoped that Ravel Morrison would get his chance to prove his first team ability. On arrival to Upton Park we had high hopes for Ravel but, when Sir Alex Ferguson gives up on a player you tend to remain skeptical.

Our worst fears were initially confirmed as Ravel failed to make any sort of first team impact, it was also reported that Morrison had a falling out with Sam Allardyce, so his West Ham career looked over before it started.

Last season things start looking up for Rav as he has had a very successful loan spell at Birmingham. Although people may criticise Sam Allardyce for lack of youth team exposure; he has giving Ravel a fair shout so far this pre-season, with the player re-paying the faith shown in him.

In last nights game against Sporting Lisbon; Ravel scored two goals against decent opposition, the second being a stunner.

Throughout pre-season Morrison has proved how valuable he could prove to be to the first team and if he keeps putting in these strong performances; you can expect to see him making the breakthrough in the near future.

Will Allardyce achieve what Sir Alex couldn't and get the best out of Morrison?
