Although our move into the Olympic stadium has come with its fair share of controversy, there is no doubting what a huge move it will be. I still think the fight from Leyton Orient owner Barry Hearn is far from over so we can expect to be reading much more about it.
With it being announced that West Ham will have to pay all of its £70 million debt in time for our move, there are still many bumps in the road ahead. I remain adamant that West Ham was the most viable and logical solution for the OS, with Barry Hearn suggesting a ground share; I say why share something when you can have it all? Football is an unforgiving game-but I wish the O's all the best.
With that being said, this can only mean big things for The' Hammers.' For the first time in years we could find ourselfes fighting it out with the top 4 and becoming a force to be reckoned with!
Its delusional to think that we'll be winning the league within the next few years but theirs nothing wrong with having strong foundations to build on.
With moving into a stadium with such statue and meaning; we will attract big name players and hopefully bigger investment.
Skeptics are out there, I don't see the point of posting stats of how others teams who have moved into their countries OS have lost money or been relegated, its just not my thing.
Has West Ham's time finally come?
