Morgan Amaliftano Deal Looking Close

A deal for Marseille midfielder Morgan Amaliftano is looking close to completion. The details remain pretty vague at this moment in time as its believed that player himself has been in discussions with current side Marseille regarding canceling his contract.

Should he get get out of his contract the deal will not necessarily be completed tonight before the end of the transfer window; as the free transfer market will still be open for clubs to negotiate with players who are without a club?

A couple of weeks back it looked likely that we would sign ex West Brom loanee Amaliftano on a £2 million permanent deal but it didn't materialise. Capped once by the France national team, Morgan natural position is out as a wide midfielder but he can also play as a centre midfielder or attacking mid.

Although their are still more details to come I would be surprised if we didn't get any updates within the next hour.
