Cresswell Has Always Been The Solution

In recent times, to put it bluntly, we have had no luck regarding left backs.

Ilunga, McCartney and Rat have all graced the Upton Park faithful; with their antics down the left flank. Both Ilunga and McCartney had moments to be proud of but Rat on the other hand didn't really flourish as we'd expected him to.

The biggest problem we had at left back was inconsistency, we didn't expect miracles from the players mentioned but trivial mistakes often proved costly.

Now with the signing of Aaron Cresswell from Ipswich in the summer it looks like we have found a real gem. Cresswell has already proven what a talented player he is. I looked at the signing of Aaron as a no brainer, he has attracted interest over the years and it looked inevitable that he would one day be playing football in the Premiership, with or without Ipswich.

Since joining, the energetic left back has put in top notch performances and has had many touting him for a England call up and with a void that could do with filling with the departure of Ashley Cole, Aaron could be the ideal replacement?
