Could This Be The Mystery Player?

The ever reliable Jack Sullivan 'Tweeted' that West Ham can expect to sign a right-sided forward within the next 48 hours, with it being confirmed that it will not be Matej Vydra or Solomon Kalou; its got many West Ham fans thinking.

This brings me to ex Leeds United winger/forward Max Gradel, Currently playing in Ligue 1 for St-Eitenne, Max picked up where he left off and has continued putting in some fine performances; scoring a few goals along the way. Gradel can play on the wing and just off of Carroll so his versatility would be appealing to Sam Allardyce.

Although St-Eitenne are not overly keen on letting the player go; things can happen quickly in football.
We were looking at Gradel a couple of years back and a deal looked imminent-but sadly nothing happened, so its safe to say that the scouting team and Big Sam are already familiar with Max's abilities.

My personal view on Max Gradel, is what a great signing he could be; until this so called mystery player is announced we can only speculate but I feel that Gradel would tick all the right boxes.
Since leaving Leeds he has continued improving and still only 25 years of age, it could be argued that he's lack of Premier League experience would be unappealing to a club of our growing statue but I think the bigger gamble would be letting this one go.

Is Gradel the missing link we are currently searching for?
Who do you think the mystery player could be?
Let me know what you think!

Cheers!
