Ex West Ham Captain Set For QPR

Reports are coming in that ex West Ham player of the year and captain Scott Parker is set to join Championship side Qpr. With Tottenham having an abundance of Midfielders, Scotty now finds himself surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane.

It's a shame to hear this news, no disrespect to Qpr, they are a good team and I expect them to earn promotion this season-after-all they have a very strong squad and the soon to be confirmed inclusion of Scott Parker will add to that.
I just find it disappointing that Parker is going to be playing in the Championship; as I think he still has much to offer a Premier League side, don't get me wrong I'm not saying we should make a bid, we have moved on and improved since Scott left; not to mention the fact that we already have enough midfielders!

When you think about it, Scott hasn't really done much wrong at Spurs, apart from having some injury problems; he's remained a consistent performer, making just under 50 appearances for the club and if he managed to avoid some of the injuries sustained, I don't think I would be writing this article, but as we all know; Football is a cruel game at times!

With a reunion with the manager who brought him to Tottenham (Harry Redknapp) looking certain, Scott will most certainly have the chance to play first team football once again and maybe even work his way back into the England set up.

Could the arrival of natural leader Parker, mean the end of Joey Barton's time with the 'Hoops?'
With it being reported that West Ham are tempted into making a bid, are Qpr bringing in Parker as a replacement?
