It was expected that Carlton Cole would make a return to West Ham, but Jack Sullivan tweeted that the deal is not happening, for the time being at least. I Know Jack has his critics but he's normally right with things like this.

Cole is not fit enough to offer a contract to. But he's thinking over getting fit with us and improving his fitness. #COYI #WHU #WHUFC .

West Ham fans will react differently to this news, Carlton's supposed return didn't have the warmest of reactions but many of us knew that he could do a decent enough job is called upon so. I did question Cole's fitness in an earlier article, so for the time being he'll train will the club and hope to prove his fitness whether or not if that will lead to a contract remains to be seen.
We will now look to the 'non-contract' market and hope to find a suitable enough striker their, but for the moment we have to hope that Maiga can start hitting the back of the net and with games against Southampton and Everton just around the corner, they are most certainly winnable!
