Sam Allardyce is thought to be quite content with his current squad but is hoping to bring in 'top quality' signing before the start of the season. Now we all know that difficulty that lies ahead in trying to build on the 10th place finish from last season so brining in players to build on our current squad will be easier said than done.
With a list of potential suiters being matched it should be interesting to see where Sam looks for this player, will it be an older more experienced player, or a younger up-coming player?
Knowing Big Sam I would think he would go for the older option.
With £15 million already being invested into Andy Carroll; we have to be realistic and say that fiances for a new player need to be within the rules and regulations etc...
The most likely position for Sam to straighten would be upfront as we still seem to be lacking in the area and thats without possible departures, so some investment in that particular area will be much needed for the fans and manager!
