According to various sources; West Ham are amongst many clubs that are taking an interest in West Brom attacking midfielder Graham Dorrans.
With renewed interest being shown from the Hammers is this a transfer that genuinely interests West Ham or is he just another name being thrown into the mix?
For the last few years we have been linked to Dorrans, at one point a bid was made in the region of £4 million but it was rejected by West Brom.
Steve Clarke has previously stated that he won't stand in Dorrans way if he choses to leave the Hawthorns, so come September it is quite possible that he could find himself at a new club; will that club be West Ham?
Generally played in the attacking-mid role Dorrans would compete for a place alongside players like Kevin Nolan and Joe Cole so he would facing very good players for the role, he has played many game for The Albion and is seen as a regular starter so he would come with experience and at times proving he's got an eye for goal in the process. Although recently he has found himself struggling for consistency so a new start could do the player some good.
At a decent price I wouldn't turn the opportunity down to sign Dorrans but anything over £3-£4 million and I say we pass, West Brom don't seem that bothered whether they keep the man or not and with their past record of keeping players against their will it shouldn't be too long before a bid is made.
