Carroll Returning To Training

The long awaited news of Andy Carroll's much needed and eagerly awaited return has edged that little bit closer, as it was confirmed that the forward will return to training this week.

It was expected that Carroll would return to the side by September/October at the latest but he has suffered other injuries what have kept him out for much longer than expected-and he's absence has been vital in our clubs failing to score goals this season.

Andy isn't expected to return to first team action until after the new year, if all goes well that is.
Sam Allardyce reiterated that keeping Andy fit is the most vital part in him playing a substantial amount of games for our club, rather than Carroll come back 80% ready we need him 100% or risk the possibility of the big man suffering yet more setbacks.

It is expected that Carroll's return will still prompt the West Ham board into making at least one more signing in the forwards position as no return is set in stone.
